100-Year-Old Photos of the Most Beautiful Women of the Last Century
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, according to the well-known saying. Yet it is only in the present day that our eyes need to make some effort to find beauty in so many faces. When it comes to women of the past, their appearance was unquestionably pure. One can be sure — this beauty is as real as it gets.
We at Bright Side are devoted fans of the natural look — and want you to see this gallery of women from the era of no Botox, no plastic surgery, and no eye patches.

They're gorgeous, aren't they? 😍 Who is your favorite beauty out of these 20?
In my opinion I would add Lillian Gish
Why the terror music?
All just average imo
i would have chosen Luzon for the entire facial expression, Maude Fealy for the design of the mouth, Cleo the classical beauty, and certainly Ione with these melancholic eyes.
My favorite was Anna May Wong
subscribe nhe!
Fantastic pictures!
Luzon was fine af, I’m just sayin.
But most of them aren't that pretty. Only a few. I was waiting but no.
3 men in there
Except for the Luzon woman..in my opinion, the others look like boys (Some of them)
The Luzon people have no relationship to any native Americans whatsoever. The picture was made I believe in 1875. The Spaniards kept The Philippines as a colony then. Indigenous Americans descent from ancient Beringians. They have nothing in common whith the people from the Philippines. Except they came from Asia! Guess she's part Spanish and part Philippino. And yes, the most beautiful of them all in my opinion!
Most commenters here have such basic taste in my opinion, no offense though. To me Cleo de merode is clearly the most beautiful, followed by ione bright.
all these pictures are retouched.
The first ten are not that beautiful until you get to the Philippines girl. With that said I love all you women. Y’all are one of the most beautiful things on this planet.
It looks like the same woman over and over again except for the asian woman and the filipino woman.
Wow I'm proud of my country…by the way I'm from Philippines😁😁😁
And everyone likes the
Picture of the Filipina and I
Agree😊
The gyspy girl and the luzon woman are the prettiest. rita martin (7) and cleo de merode (3) were pretty too in my opinion.
Beauty most certainly is in the eye of the beholder, not everyone view beauty the same this is your version..
If black women are proud of their beauty why do they change their natural curly black hair? Fake straight hair everywhere…fake blonde wigs…fake fake. Be who you really are: blacks.
I like the first one and the Philippines!
