The most important factor of a camera is the quality of the pictures it takes. And when it comes to pictures quality there are two cameras to consider the Sony A7R3 and the Pentax K1 mark 2. Both Canon and Nikon are far behind when it comes to picture quality, in particular at ISO 800 or higher where Pentax is the absolute king.
Flicker in the timelapse are distracting. At least for me. Shoot everything manual when you shoot timelapse to avoid the exposure and focus shifting possibilities
