Cheap DIY Studio Light Reflector
I needed a way to direct the light from my studio lights a little better so I came up with a cheap and easy solution using a plastic bowl and foil tape.
Foil tape via Amazon:
Bulb holder with umbrella mount via Amazon:
Use 25 watts LED flood lamp
Helloo..i know its very late but there is something i wanna ask..can use alumunium foil for strobe light that has 500Watt??i made one but i havent tried because iam too scared hahah
Superbbb

You have to use a primer for paint
this is useful
Dog bowl
Krylon Fusion paint works much better on plastic and is about the same price. You'll also want to clean it really good with some rubbing alcohol first to help it adhere.
Nice results for fair price.
what bulb are you using
omg! very easy! love it!
Would that work with aluminum?
You need plastic primer first before applying regular aerosol cans
Use sandpaper and rub the bowl next time before spraying.
Hello , nice video. What type of stand you use / where to buy the model ? Ty
If you sanded the bowl down first the paint would of stuck to the bowl easily
I was searching for the cheapest way to build a ring light. I choose this ✌ I can maybe put a diffuser in front with a black circle on the center to appear like a ring. (for the ring effect on the eyes) Haha is this a crazy idea? 😅
Awesome idea, #Respect for you man

Hi, Don't you get flicker because of CFL? if so how do you manage? Is there any way except increasing shutter speed?
Could also get one of those hardware clamp lights…those worked really well for me in the past…although I don't know how you'd be able to run umbrella thru it…never tried that…but thanks!!
Thank you, exactly what I needed 😘
