Pre-Demolition photo video of the Glover School (elementary). There were two school buildings on the property, the original 1916 lower Glover School and the later constructed upper Glover School.
I attended this school in the 1970’s and would like to extend special thanks to the Marblehead School Department for allowing me access to photograph the buildings prior to demolition.
The photo’s were taken on June 21, 2012 just days after the Glover School let out it’s students for the last time. As I walked the building Marblehead School Department employees were busy emptying the school of all useable items before the building was to be handed over to the contractor on June 29, 2012.

I just viewed this and was filled with sorrow, memories, joy. I attended Glover in the 1950's and loved the school, the teachers and staff.
