Miss my 70-200 f4. The compression and bokeh was incredible.

  4. i've gone travelling with full frame dslr. Next time, would be with a small canon or a small fujifilm

I don't care what lens is on my camera when I go out shooting. My 70-200 mm F 2.8 is a should strap-pack away. I try to start off with a 50 mm or 24-105 mm, because I know once the 70-200 mm goes on… that's a wrap. Will not be changing anymore for that day. The funny thing is that when I have it on my 7D Mark ii, and battery-grip, the weight is so well balanced that I can carry it all day without any problem. And knowing the look on the face of anyone whom tries to grab it and see that weight take them to ground. Just enough time for me to pounce!

I must try this with my 70-200 and 100-400mm on the A9. Thanks for the inspiration.

  8. Bill Zidis says

Not with the 70-200 or 50-140 but with a 100,135 prime is possible without scaring people around you

This lens is very cool or i mean the focal length i love that focal length need more money to keep to buy 70-200mm f2.8 but useful lens more tips how to use that focal length 🤔😁

  10. PlayThePIXELS says

I bought the 100-400 which is a little lighter, though, you need the battery grip to handle it better , without it is quite difficult.

I have actually just ordered the equivalent lens for Panasonic, the Lumix 35-100 f/2.8 and I can't wait for it to arrive. I'm going to Toronto at the end of this month and I'm beyond excited for the adventure. I already have the 12-35 f/2.8 which is what I use for street photography 95% of the time atm, so it'll be interesting to see what I can do with the 35-100. Again, great video Pierre!! I always love your videos 🙂 have a lovely week

    Amazing place for photos.

I have that lens and use a vest mount to carry and use it, very comfy and secure,! if you wear a large jacket you can just zip it up and no one is any the wiser, the lens is quite compact if you can use it without the ridiculous hood. I'm working on a pop out/ pop on silicon version to see if it makes life easier.

With Micro Four Thirds, you could have the same field of view in a stealthy lens that weighs 135 grams and costs less that $400. Faster lenses are a bit larger, but still a lot more practical than full frame.

Is that the parking lot that the dark knight was filmed in??? Lmao looks eerily similar

  30. Who thought it was impossible? I recently did street photography with 750mm (a 500mm lens on DX for the 750mm crop focal length.)

  31. Joel Doxtator says

You haven't lived until you street shoot with a 600mm f/4.

I bought the Canon 70-200 f4l about 5 months ago. Before that I used mostly wide angle to 50mm. There’s definitely a learning curve. I wasn’t getting many good shots at first. But now I’m so happy I bought it, it’s my favorite lens.

I have the latest 70-200 from canon and the previous version (f/2.8) and it’s the best lens a photographer can have for all situations, me i have muscles so the weight doesn’t bother me..
