In this video I talk through a simple off camera flash set up for a bride and groom portrait on a wedding day. By exposing for the brightest part of the scene, which in this case was a lamp, I was able to create a dramatic wedding portrait using a single speed light flash and MagMod modifiers.

A 12-minute trial-and-error video on off flash photography what is seen in the camera lcd screen. In SLR film shoot before DSLRs, the tools and adjustments are pre-planned without the luxury of chimping. We wait for prints and we usually get the results we want what we see during the shoot.

Hey good attempt at this. I have a couple of points to make though.
    1. When the bride walked in the frame the groom's face was all shadowed and that bothered me.
    2. Brides arm looked very prominent and was a focus to human eye. Bothered me.

Brilliant!! Another stonkingly great shot, walked through in simple, straight forward steps, love these videos.

Have you ever thought of going Godox for speedlights, AD200 etc? I know you like the stratos triggers to kill the light quickly, but you can set a button on your D810 to kill all flash. Also, you would only need the trigger as the receivers are all built into their flashes. Anyway its just a thought to speed up your workflow even more.
