How to Take Great Photos at the Beach: Free Online Photography Lessons from Tommy Schultz

Let’s be honest here. The point of taking great beach photos is to make everyone back home jealous when you get back.

Ok, I’m joking a bit, but I will admit that it took me a few years of (ahem) field research on some of the world’s most beautiful stretches of sand to get the hang of capturing that blue water / white sand perfection that you see in travel magazines.

Basically it comes down to understanding how your camera sees light in a much different way than your eye does. In this lesson we’ll cover my top two tricks to bringing back awesome beach photos from your next vacation (3 minutes, 45 seconds).

Palawan is one of the most magnificent places here in the Philippines, especially the group of islands in "Coron, Palawan" they're almost like the island beaches of Thailand. And if you're looking for a wonderful stretch of beaches in the Philippines, you should have visited the Magnificent (Pink-Sand) Sta. Cruz Island beach in Zamboanga City, Philippines. It's one of the only 2 Pink-Sand beach in the country. The beach has a wonderful pink-sand beach with crystal clear emerald green water.

About the safety…? well, it's completely safe since there's actually a Philippine Marines detachment in the island since it's a protected Reserve Island beach (but open for public to visit). And all boats that will go to Sta. Cruz Island from Zamboanga city is always guarded by two PNP (Philippine National Police) escorts, so your visit is always safe

basically you are saying that i can get a better image of a beach, putting my 100 euro rayban in front of my 800 euro nikkor??? yes, maybei will be able tosee the underwater colours… and also in same way reducing the quality of the imageof my well calibrated lenses.. if i would put a glasses in front of my camera i will better use a shoot and throw camera, thanks but i think the best tip you can give is to shoot in raw and get the colors fixed afterwards…

thanks anyway Tommy, as a begginer tip is too begginer this one..
