This is my ultimate wedding photographer’s lighting kit featuring the Godox ad-200 lights and the Godox ad-b2 dual head adapter. I’ve used everything from Profoto B1s and B2s to just speedlights to led continuous lights and this kit is king of them all. PRODUCT LINKS BELOW:

Crap review! You're talking with a half head and in this whole video not only one damned example pic was shown. What a boring time waste…

  2. P Hibon says

According to the manual of the Godox AD200, the modeling light is only available on the flash speedlight head – not on the bare bulb light. Yet your bare bulbs do have the modeling light capability. Are you using a special lamp for that?

    Can’t see your head

I went to cheetah stand and couldn't find that little softbox. Could you hook me up with a link to where I can purchase it? The one with the mount that goes right onto the flash head.

  5. Klaas Norg says

Looks like it can handle some abuse too. The way you smash everything on the table and switching the heads like you trying to pull someone’s guts out.

  6. Andreas Ioannou says

Nice review! What reflector are you using on the AD-B2 as I notice that it has the umbrella cutout?

  7. Kenny Webster says

Thanks for saying you can't overpower the sun, it drives me crazy when people say that.

  8. Annette Kempers says

Hey Jesse, useful instruction! However, I don’t get a modeling light on the bare bulb on my AD200. How to get this to work properly?

  9. Surya Chataut says

Does the Godox/Flashpoint R2 transmitter support TTL for the hotshoe mount? Also, I can do TTL if I connect the R2 transmitter via PC-sync?

Video composition could use some work.. your head is cut off most of the time.

AD200 is about 3x power of Canon 600 Flash

Do you have images with these lighting system?

Jesse Starr Awesome video, and an incredible portable kit. Thank you for sharing. May I ask you how do you light formal groups. You said you shoot groups of people with two ad200's and a reflector attached in a mid day outside. How do you position your light? Further behind you and up high? Is the light pointed directly at the centre of the group or its on your side and pointed on the angle? Do you use umbrella along with the attached reflector or just only reflector? if yes, is it shoot through or reflective umbrella? And what is the size? How many people could be in a group? What is the maximum number of people? I would really like to know all that as I'm considering investing in all the gear you talked about. Thank you

Dude you have half a head 🙂

Which reflector do you recommend for the twin head? My Flashpoint Bowens mount reflector has no umbrella hole. I'm thinking of modding it so the umbrella mount on the AD-B2 can be accessed with reflector on. By the way, over the past monthive purchased two Evolve 200 kits, including a Glow Hexapop, barndoors, silicone skins, filters, twin head adapter, and all with quick shipping and no Issues or hassles. I do business with both them and B&H, no problems.

    Any trigger with that?

Just don't buy from Adorama. They will sell you drop & spill waranties that they do not actually honor. Meaning, although it's not written in the fine print or on their website, they will sell it to you even though it's not covered. Legally one would have a case to sue. They say they will "update" their info but at least for the past year or so have not done so. I guess they'd rather collect peoples money that offers them nothing in return. Scam.

  18. Roy Tang says

Great video. Do they work well shooting in TTL and HSS?

  19. Vrushali Lele says

Could you please tell me which one camera flash do you use w the godox system?

  23. Niel Lambrechts says

What light stand do you use with the ADB2, and how do you carry your light stands?

  24. Mark Shirley says

How are the batteries recharged – is there a recharger with the light

  25. Cole Harper says

Interested in the link for the cheetah umbrella mount as well please

  26. William Rheaume says

If you are going to buy the AD200 I strongly recommend looking in to buying the eVOLV 200 version from Adorama. Why? The lights are exactly the same regardless of brand name on them, but Adorama by far offers much more stuff in their kits.
I am usually a strong B & H customer and purchased most of my photo equipment from them. But the kits offered from Adorama offer way more for this flash – for instance the kit i bought for the exact same price as B&H had a Hexapop 24" modifier ($150 list) in the kit and a couple of other small items to boot. If you like more equipment for the same price check it out (never seen that before as I always compare pricing, only on this flash for some reason). Just saying…

You may want to see if the http://a.co/eUprz2e softbox is like the softbox you have in the video.
