Great video, in your opinion if you were looking to get hired as a 2nd shooter or even shooting the entire wedding would you say a full frame camera with 2 card slots is a must? This is the only thing that has kept me waiting till I upgraded.

Thanks again for another great upload Taylor! Glad to hear about another season of a photographer in. I mean, the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell after all. So where in Canada am I flying into so we can grab this cup of coffee? Then I can get to painting. 🙂 but seriously, keep it up Taylor. You make some great down to earth material that's both entertaining and full of information you don't hear from many other photographers. I just started my own photo side business and the tips/tricks are great. Hoping to transform my career path in the near future! Cheers -David

This is just good stuff. I like that the main rule is "no big ego". I love second shooting because it's (to me) less pressure, and I get to be helpful to the main and a bit more creative, because the stakes aren't quite as high.

Thanks for the info! Can you do a another video on the flip side? How to find good second shooters, and maybe network in general. I tried joining local facebook groups for photographers, but they were started by media companies and mostly used to promote themselves.

  18. Samuel Jacobs says
