in need of second hand full studio equipment under $1500
This guy looks like Mark Cuban…
Like your videos
I have Canon 60d can i start with that…
you are awesome!
Lol, there are camera's used and only $200, and Equipment is cheaper that you mentioned.. However always is best to tell drought to your pockets! Divisions of paychecks is important. Some they can't afford to, so you need to be back up B plan..
Cool man
Y’all tripping 😂😭
Your video was really helpful and most of my doubts were cleared. https://www.rentoclick.com/
I have a Nikon 3300.8s that ok for starts..I have to get an internet card for it so I can send photos to the laptop and phone.
IS Baja b4 good for 2018 or nah?😅😅😅
Cool 😎
I have a canon d700. Is it good for starting?
Thank you, sir, you help me with my project.
I find your videos helpful and easy to watch (unlike some others out there!) When they get to the point of purchasing equipment to set up a studio, I would assume most people are like me and already have the camera. Would love to see a setup video focused more on cost effective lighting / background options in different budgets.
great attempt to provide a reliable list of photography equipment. Would like to contribute my own share of experience which I have learned from my 5 years of photography journey. Here is the link https://dvooz.com where you can get all types of photography tools at a very cost effective price.
Appreciate your effort that you come out with such researched video. You make sure all your points reach us loud and clear and that's impressed me. A huge thumbs, definitely going to recommend my colleague and friends. Waiting for your next video.

the tamron 28-75 is a very good lens, but it is NOT a cropped lens. it is for fullframe bodies. so you gonna lose that wide 28mm that will turn into a 45mm.
I watched the video till the end and i must say you have explained the features quite nicely. Would definitely share this to my colleague and friends.

I’m set on much of the basic gear and am doing a lot of landscape with my new D850 and D 800. I’d like to get into portraits, and have nIkon Speedlights SB 800, 700, and an old SB 28. I just bought a set of Pocket Wizard flex 5 ttl triggers and am looking for my first strobe and battery pack. I have my eye in the pub Einstein unit…what do you think on the Einstein, and the kit in it’ entirety ? BTW, I have your modifier kit on order From B&HAs I write.
Any chance of making a listing of the packs and links to go w them?
Very detailed. Thanks
lens Can you suggest Best begginer budget ? ?
Ok, I think I've got enough equipment to get started. So how do I go about making an income please Jay P?
What's wrong with the Nikons?
would a sony a6000 be a good one to start with, i have one so i was wondering if it might ?
So, i have two cameras ( one of which is an older Canon but it will do ), tripod, computer – not a Mac, but it will do for now, a location – also something to consider, i just need some bits and pieces like external flashes and studio lights, a printer and i guess i'm ready.
My other camera is Nikon D7200, but only body, I don't have the Kit lens, so i'm considering the NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G lens – do you recommend it?
Hi, good to see your video. thanks for that. I have a Nikon5200, JJC Flash, JJC Trigger, Octagon Softbox, Stand to mount the Flash.
What say about this set up???
Please suggest.
Regards
Samir Samuel David
The best thing I learned in the beginning , not to become a victim of the marketing business. I kept it simple and 700 dollar studio light system.
is the external flash on hotshoe important for starting studio?
thanks J.P…
I am currently using an older but still new Nikon D7000, 2x speed lights, reflectors, plus I have on order Sigma 50mm 1.4 and a Sigma 17-70 f2.8. At least I have a good start
i have a nikon D5200 can i start with that one?
hi .. this is David from Belgium .. i have several quations please add me to your skype .. superman60 my face thanks
Possibly a backdrop kit? Regardless, good video JP.
Hello Jay P I have a question. A while back you posted some things you keep in your box. In there you had some thumb screws. They were of a standard type size. Can you tell me what size these were? i wrote it down and go figure I lost the paper. 🙁
JP you're the best! thank you a ton!
Might as well get a used rebel instead of a new one not worth the $$ buy used
Why not use inexpensive speedlights for the second package? You could get more light for the same money. Just curious…
I find the Canon recommendation amusing. I see more people selling their Canon gear than all the other brands combined. On the plus side, beginners can buy into the brand for cheap if they buy used.
3000$ filmmaking kit please! I am looking to buy a Sony camera
