I noticed some people having issues with files downloading in formats other than jpeg. I am not an expert but I wanted to share my experience in case this is helpful for others. My data is nearly 200 GB of photo storage. That means on the screen where you select how many photo albums, I'm only choosing about 25% of them (total guess on size of data) because the max download file is 50 GB (you see that on the next screen) so if you're just choosing a 2GB archive download (the default) since in the video here he says dont change the default settings….I would suggest upping the data dump max to a 50 GB file. This will allow a complete photo file to be accessible for editing, etc. Just do it in batches. Worked for me 🙂
