I shot this video on a recent trip to Rome. In it I share some shots from the trip, thoughts on travelling light, and a look at what’s in my ‘travel light’ camera bag.

When I travel light I bring my Nikon D600, Nikkor 35mm f2d, Cullman small tripod, batteries/charger, screw on filters.
Would you mind leaving a link to your monopod?
Rome is beautiful
Love the Pantheon…
Very enjoyable! Last month I had a long weekend in Milan. More than half my cabin baggage allowance was a Nikon D700 body, plus 24-70mm and 14-24mm zooms so I feel your pain. I came back with over 300 shots and had the time of my life! Rome is high on the agenda.
Could you please tell me the name of the piano song that played at the start of the video? Really loved that tune 👍 Also this video is another great reminder to beginner photographers such as myself 🙏
Love the video. My wife and I and a couple of friends are thinking about visiting Rome April /May 2019 for 2-3 nights. I watched another video about Rome earlier and I get the impression that the parts we're interested in – the ancient Roman bits rather than the Italian city – are within relatively close proximity one another. Like yourself, we like travelling light when we don't have a car – so an x-Pro2 and 2 primes for me and my wife, her x-T1 (maybe upgrading to an x-T2 as they are becoming a real bargain with the intro of the x-T3) and 10-24, 18-55 and, maybe 55-200 will be more than enough (we tend to swap / share lenses). Video is of no interest to either of us. BTW, if you ever get the chance and haven't been already, visit Bologna. Stunning place, heaps of history and a lot less touristy than Rome.
The music you use for videos makes a huge difference.
My suggestion for the Smartlav: Put iit into your Smartphone and record beautiful sound with the App RecForge.
i repost premission ya
If you love quick autofocus, I think you should check out the Sony a6000, I currently just use it, and the continuous autofocus is incredible! Image quality and colour are great too, but it's no A7RII for low-light performance (it's not bad, but I it's not the best). I'm just an amateur/hobbyist, though, so take my words with a grain of salt..
I do travel light: Nikon D850, Sigma 24-105, Nikkor Fisheye, Manfrotto travel tripod. That´s all. Happy days.
Clever.
Stunning video! BTW I follow U on Instagram and Ur photos are beautiful and impressive! 😉💯📷👌🏻🥃🥃
Probably is a mundane question, and I should say more about your work, but the only thing that comes to my mind now, what is the camera that you use to record yourself? I have to tell you more things about your amazing videos, but I will do it another time.
What Lut did you use on this footage??
You should try Canon 24mm panckake with 80D and tell us about your opinion…Congratulations for sharing your experience
Canon EOS 500N, 28-200, 50mm 1.8. Rollei Compact Traveler #1, Neewer TT560. 10 Rolls of Agfa Vista 100. Can I get by with this for a week in Morocco shooting my friends and documenting our trip?
Great video with some ingenious ideas without breaking the bank!
Great video Sean! What were you recording the video on?
love the light work!! so nice! 🙂
