To be honest, that shot would have been better with a telephoto lens, panorama. Also I've discovered for most of my panorama photos, using lightroom to stitch multiple shots, handheld is enough, even with a telephoto lens. Unless of course the lighting is low where the shutter speed is not fast enough for that reciprocal equation.

The video from 13:28 till the end is just black screen. I assume that's not what you wanted?

  3. And then Casey and Jason came to a fork in the road. They shook hands, and said their good-byes. Casey shifted the pack on his back until it was evenly distributed, and then adjusted his EDC in the holster beneath his pullover shirt so the butt of the SIG would not cut into his gut. Then he stepped off, and took the RIGHT fork. Jason took the Left fork in the road. His pace quickened when he glimpsed a Unicorn on the purple horizon that lay ahead of him.

Jason, you may not have been satisfied with your panorama but the scenery was spectacular! Meadows with conifer thickets, snow capped mountains. Now what were you saying about not getting a good composition? In spite of wind, etc. the video was great. I loved the rocks, mountains in the distance, patches of trees. Couldn't have been better!

I am pretty sure I know right where that is. Just a few miles above Ukiah, Oregon. Next to the Bridge Creek Wilderness. Isn't that Drift Fence Campground? We hunt there every year.

Hello my outdoors friend, I'm amazed at your knowledge of photography. Thank you so much for sharing. I like your two dogs. They are really mellow. Be safe out there and keep your great videos coming along. 🤗

Now this is what I was talking about! Perfect video, just the right amount of B-Roll, content, and education about what you’re doing and talking about photography and how your trying to get your composition and exposure. I also do photography and know everything that you’re talking about. I also learned something from this video about stacking photos which is something I never really have tried. Thank you again for the amazing video. This is why I continue to watch and stay subscribed. I even went back and watched all the videos from the beginning to get up to speed.

Very nice shot I thought. Good explanation how you were setting it up. Plus I got a couple minutes bonus listening to your background music faded to black. One of my favorite pieces that you use.

G´day Jason excellent video as always keep doing this great work and I have a little question in which kind of day you prefer daisy coffee and in which kind of day the wheeler one it may be a dumb question and maybe it is but anyhow let me know it

  36. Kicking Bird says

Thanks for the photos, and the ideas. On days of the light wind I’ve tried taking them into the wind. Seems to help, kinda with the movement. I would like to hear more about your new fire stove. Only one question does the bottom get to hot, possibly start anything underneath to get hot or start on fire?

  37. Thanks for sharing the behind the scenes struggles, when things don’t go as planned 🌴

  38. Darrell Hands says

    Great work, loved the photo

  39. John Lord says

A good shot would be that Jeep Overland Trip, on that goat trail we drove, on the side of that 200+ foot cliffside canyon. Looking out from there should be a very interesting shoot of height, trees, slopes, forward objects, distant view, a possible flying critter in the medium distance, lighting and color constrasts, clouds, sun, …
