what kind of wireless flash trigger do you use? it is important to consider your wireless flash trigger having high speed sync?

  2. André Fernandes says

Very nice video. I would like to ask you what softbox do you use. And did you have to buy a wireless trigger to use that flash? Also, when you are using the flash do you point it directly to the subject? Sorry I'm a disaster when it comes to flash photography.

  3. Phil Nwafor says

    Great video.
Sorry if already addressed but what it the soft box you are using in the video? And bracket?

  4. HEXOTECH says

Get rid of that Horn looking bullshit light behind your head or are you doing juju with your photography.

I shoot off camera flash with godox 350 or 680 and use the 12×12 softbox by godox. I use to setup multiple lights but find using an assistant to hold light works the best.

In a studio setting what would your camera settings be? For portraits mostly and some full body shoots

  9. Cee Byrd Tweet says

This was great, I've only shot a few weddings and this was helpful. A couple questions… what camera are you using for this video? Also, do you ever have flashes set up on stands to light up the room during weddings? Why are there so many photographers at Nigerian weddings? Are they all paid to be there???

It's great to see a channel with people of color and their beautiful skin tones. I had to subscribe.

I was going to get another Flashpoint speedlite, but this made me think about the AD200.

  11. Olajumoke Adeegbe says

Thanks for the tips! It was expository.. Are you based in Lagos and do you take interns or apprentices?

  12. Joel Skingle says

Great info thanks for putting this together. What light do you use for making your videos? it is super soft I love it!?

  13. John Asante says

Hi Prince, I’m wondering if you’ve thought about using the MagMod sphere with an AD200 at weddings. I think it might solve your space and interference issues at crowded events. I’d love to hear your thoughts on MagMod.
Keep up the good work, from your Ghana brother

  14. SAMBA MURTHY says

    Thank U for informetion Bro

  15. yves225CI says

Since it's an event and you need to be quick enough to do not miss some moment due to flash settings, do you shoot in TTL mode or you still keep Manual Mode?

  16. Colin Green says

    Time for mag mod!

Have you had any problems with your ad200? I bought one and it seemed to work fine, but on my first wedding with it we were at church and I was going to take the family formals and I had all my settings ready, but the Ad200 looked like it was flashing, but not enough light. At first I that I had made a mistake but it happened to me twice already..it works fine when is working lol, but sometimes all of the sudden it looks like it is flashing but not with enough power I have to move all my camera setting.. Have you experienced a ln issue with it?

  22. Dwayne K. Smith says

Interesting stuff. Why are there multiple photographers and videographers? Seeing that they are all bundled in front I'm assuming they aren't shooting for the same company

  23. Oscar Micheaux says

    Keep working!

  24. Sobere Somiari says

Yah brother another great tip from you. After watching your video I decided to try it out! And boy it was amazing. Although I shot with a 50mm and I use a speedlite with a Goddox softbox but I really happy with my pictures. So I say thanks

    Subbed

    Great video

I've been using ocf for a while now. I live on the Oregon coast in the u.s. so a lot of my weddings are outdoors on the beach, sometimes in halls, but they're never as beautiful and lit up and colorful as the one in your video unfortunately.

Honestly I'm put in vast variety of lighting situations. Inside and out. I need to be able to adapt quickly. Mostly I use my ad360 or v860ii godox lights. 30" softbox is my go to. For harsh sun I use a scrim to make the light look good. When I'm indoors in a run and gun situation I hand hold my 16" softbox with a pistol grip, or bounce off ceiling.

It rains a lot here so often times I have a nice overcast and I don't need any light.

My last wedding was super rainy and windy like a storm. Very crazy. Had to use lights so it wouldn't look so bland and flat from the low light. But at the end I had to take it down because the wind.

Anyways man. Great video. Looking forward to seeing more of your content.

  40. Rubeun Gracias says

    There is smaller AD200 softbox

  41. Clyde Almeida says

Lovely. I use a mag sphere on my flashes off camera with an assistant or sometimes 2 flashes at 2 corners of the dance floor at variable powers. If I have to shoot in the opp direction I'll have another 2 flashes mounted at the opposite corners. As I shoot further away from the flashes, I increase the power.

  42. Nathan Davis says

Loved the photos. Question that kept going through my head was, "So you carry around the light stand with the big modifier?" and then you answered me with, "Assistant!"

I gotta get one of those voice activated light stands.

  43. Kathy Robinson says

💕💕💕great images! Thanks for this video!

  44. Katiku J. says

Quick Question Prince Have you tried magmod ligh modifiers e.g magbounce or magsphere for this. Would be lighter i think.
    PS: am not marketing. magmod.

  45. Christian Howell says

Cool video… I'm trying to get into weddings as a business… I have 2x AD200s and am planning to get two more… I could get an AD600 and get more power for around the same money but I like being able to use an AD-B2 for double the power or use one as a kicker… You should look at the Godox Wide angle diffuser… You can go higher power and sit it above everyone and get a very wide light hitting everyone… Then everything floor level is a kicker…

  46. Annie Poe says

Loved this video and all your content!… since it’s wedding season could you do some more videos on wedding photography!?

  47. Chi Chi Nana Okafor says

Hi Prince can I use this Ad200 for studio portraits and pictures?just starting and don’t have so much money to buy the big big gears for now do
You think it will suffice and be good enough to get quality sellable images in studio?
