On my birthday, I decided to tell the full story of how I realistically became a full time photographer. This is extremely personal for me, but when I was getting into the industry, I know it would’ve helped to hear what the journey of this profession was like. So here’s my sad attempt at trying to inspire somebody who wants to start a business, become an entrepreneur, or just take a leap of faith. This is what I went through, and what I’m sure many others go through to live a fulfilled life.

I appreciate your vulnerability and the way you outline your journey. I just turned 20 and am attempting to do exactly as you did. In New York, every company wants someone with a BFA or BA in Photography. It's quite difficult being young and passionate while trying to make a living. This really inspired me!
