A initially learned photography as a kid shooting black & white then developing the photos in a dark room, that was a magical time and sparked my interest in photography. As I got older I dabbled in digital photography but wasn't until my kids were born that i really started to get an active interest back in it all.

you forgot the makeup colours.. you did something with it in your original file. And I can't download the RAW file on your website. There are only jpegs.
It is impossible to know what tools you are using in this video, why don't you explain how you are doing these moves?
That is awesome, please do more tutorials, they are really great.
Just a word of advice on your next tutorial. A) slow down. You click and talk way too fast. B) you have to tell people exactly what to click on, I’m 15 minutes in and had to stop several times to see what you did. For example: you never said to start out on the low frequency with the lasso tool. You just started editing. It’s very frustrating. I bet this 45 minute tutorial will turn into 2 hours with all of the pauses and rewinds I feel I will have to do.

i know this techniques, but its so interesting watching you applying them in Affinity, and not PS as me
I am sorry but I can't see where Affinity is the better option for retouchers over Photoshop. I see that is might be a good option for an overall photo editing with a less steep learning curve compared to PS and for those who do not want to pay a monthly subscription fee to adobe (which I do and do not like that monthly payment at all). I wish Affinity would provide a better result than PS does, I would switch immediately rather than paying adobe on a monthly basis.
