A initially learned photography as a kid shooting black & white then developing the photos in a dark room, that was a magical time and sparked my interest in photography. As I got older I dabbled in digital photography but wasn't until my kids were born that i really started to get an active interest back in it all.

WOW! This is NOT documentary wedding photography! its actually the complete opposite!
when I saw all that equipment I just knew this was gonna be the best shoot I have ever seen… I have done remarkable work with a speedlight and a Sony a6300….

to know about inside church etiquette and manners is also important for a wedding photographer. Some church or mostly, sacred ceremonies don't allow flash and that loud voice duh..
I totally get this guy. He really like what's he is doing, and he is offering and experience, even if the photo's isn't that great, he does a very well job directing the wedding. There are all types of brides and grooms, and may got a lot of clients that seek for this interaction and sense of security he inputs to what ever he does, even if it doesn't require that much of emphasis from the technical and creative point of view.

Got to say that you would be booted out of a church in the UK so quickly!
I wouldn't dream of being so intrusive. Imagine you've just married the woman of your dreams, you're set to walk back down the isle and be greeted by your family and friends but you miss that memory as there is a photographer about a foot away from you all the way!?
Seem like a lovely bloke and it may just be the way it's done in the US

lol. Mediocre at best.
The pictures were so,so at best while the photographer was too intrusive the church. In church photographers should be an invisible as possible and definitively not heard.
