B&H’s very own Gabe Biderman introduces us to the fun world of light writing, a method which involves a dark environment, a camera with long-exposure settings, a cable release, and a light source with which to make patterns. The rules for creating your own light writing are pretty loose, and Gabe shows us just how easy it is to generate fun, unique images in no time.

This was a REALLY helpful tutorial, Gabe! I have one question, though. Does it matter when you pop the flash? Is it helpful to do it as close to the end of the exposure time as possible, or is there wiggle room? Thank you so much!
