Why do you call this technique High Speed? It was my understanding that HSS involves a camera shutter speed higher than 1/160 which is the maximum speed you can shoot with an standard flash.

If you have a timer on the camera, it would be probably be best to use it, just so that you’re not pushing the button and dropping the peppers at the same time. But that’s just my opinion. Other than that, great video 🙂

This is the 3rd video of yours that I have watched and I find that you are an amazing teacher. I have been watching a lot of videos with different photographers and I am able to follow and recreate what you teach. Most of the others I have lots of other research I have to do in order to recreate the shots. Cudos to you and you are amazing. Have signed up for your Youtube and website pages. Thank you

I realize that I'm late to the party by several years but the fact that a lens is a prime in NO way guarantees that it's sharp. And what standard are we using to say a lens is sharp? Are we talking Zeiss and or Leica sharp; or sharp for a high production consumer lens made in a 3rd world country? It's not just about being sharp; it's about contrast colour rendition, chromatic aberations, etc, etc, etc…
