A initially learned photography as a kid shooting black & white then developing the photos in a dark room, that was a magical time and sparked my interest in photography. As I got older I dabbled in digital photography but wasn't until my kids were born that i really started to get an active interest back in it all.

I was reading the specs on Amazon and it said the 3 bulbs were rated at 45watts each.What is the 600watt rating for exactly?Is that the maximum wattage it can handle?

Just ordered one fluorescent 125W bulb (same light as 600W halogen) and it did cost 45$ for only the bulb here in Norway…

for a few bucks more you can order the 900W kit (instead of 600W) witch includes 2 translucent & 2 reflective umbrellas.
