I'm not very clear about the transition from (say) darktable to
gimp.
If you really had to could you have done all this in Gimp only?
When you go from DT to gimp does it have to convert to jpeg or can you use tiff.

thanks for doing the video I really appreciate it. Your videos helped me find darktable. I'm pretty new to photography all around and your videos help a lot. I know that you have a newb guide to darkroom do you have anything like that for GIMP? Again thank you very much for taking the time to make this content.
I am a FOSS user for ethical/philosophical reasons.However, I don't know if I agree with what you said about it being "better". Do you consider Gimp to be better than Photoshop for this type of work? If so, would you mind elaborating?
