PortraitPro FAIL!!! portrait professional pro

5 31

Portrait Pro Studio version seems to be giving me a hard time on reproducing the image that I have “completed” in the software.
Two things:
The forehead has a shadow line around the talent and I told the software that I wanted the necklace out of focus and in the edit you can see it shows out of focus.
But, in the final jpeg in this video you can see that the PortraitPro made the necklace clear.
Yet, clearly I wanted the necklace out of focus yet the jpeg has the necklace very clear.
I have contacted Portrait Pro and was informed I have to wait until my “ticket” has been responded to as they will not help me over the phone.
At least OnOne Software will communicate with you on the phone…
Wish you all success.

I have been working with PortraitPro since version 10. Understandably, version 18 is the best yet.

Now there is version 15 available. Probably many bugs have been corrected.
    Kind regards.

This program is top quality.  Your criticism has about as much quality as your video

Thanks for the heads up. I agree they should be thanking you for pointing out the flaws. You saved me wasting my money. Portrait Pro get your act together you can not hide the truth.

Hi, could you please upload your PP file and let us try to export your image? I think the problem comes from your hardware, and it's not a software problem. Try to load it in Lightroom and export it as jpeg from there.
As regards the necklace, PP does not do these adjustments. You may easily do it in Lightroom or Photoshop. PP is a very powerful tool, but not for such adjustments.
