Do you sometimes find it difficult to say 'no' to certain clients sometimes? How do you handle it?

Great info … I do the policy method but there have been times I have just said no but offered up other options as an alternative …this is a key part of ourselves to just be able to say no and be fine with that.
But I have to admit if I say no there is a part of me that wants to fix that …and help this person no matter what….. O to be human !

Good info, well said. I use the policy method when certain charities ask for donations. I say it’s my practice to give “The United Way”. If the organization is not affiliated with United Way I encourage them to become affiliated and thereby get my support — otherwise, no.

Good advice. Another word of advice in addition to saying "no" is to every once in a while, review your client list and refuse to take additional work from the ones that are the most troublesome (e.g. never satisfied, overly demanding, slow paying). That will free you up to serve your better clients more fully.
