Not very good this time. We pay thousands of dollar on cameras and hundreds on Adobe and just get 1800's result, and we keep on calling it FIME ART. Bonjour madame monsieur, nous avons besoin d'une révolution.

First off going to a zoo to photograph animals is not photography. It's like going fishing at a fish farm. Anyway there's enough negativity on the internet to go around but I disagree with this video and the manner in which you obtained your images.

To be honest, of course we should all thanks Serge for sharing experience and techniques. But as a beginner, I feel that somehow this is pretty much like amateur level from shooting to processing, down to the aethetic. I do not know the feelings from the other audience, but I think from basic level, we should learn more about the visual aesthetic and how to shoot a good photo.

Why pop up the subject and decrease the exposure of the background? Because this is not good picture in terms of the composition when you press the shutter. Ps and Lr can never change a crap into a masterpiece. If you are trying to do so you are on the wrong way of doing photography. Thanks for sharing the Lr and Ps techs but I don't agree with the way you deal with these pics.

    Serge, thank you so much

hey serge don't listen to the haters, these photos like a million times better than your source photos. I agree that you probably could have started with some more epic source photos, but I kind of think that's the point. To show that an amateur can achieve an artsy look with a shitty picture.

I have been able to bridge the gap from hobbyist to paid professional in 3 months, and it your videos have helped tremendously on my path. I do think being a professional musician already helped with clients, the art itself, and especially the technical aspect of recording images (it's oddly similar to recording audio, terms like aliasing, clipping, etc act analogously on sound as they do with light). Thanks for all your help with my own art ventures much love <3

    en même temps !
Pour ceux qui ne parle pas l'anglais !
pour éviter de faire deux vidéos une en Français et l'autre en Anglais !

et ainsi augmenter les vues !

Thank you Serge. Your tutorial really helped me immensely. In Oregon we have a similar place called Wildlife Safari. I was able to take what most would consider a very good picture of a rhinoceros and turn it into a masterpiece with your guidance. I manually set everything and saved them as presets.
