hey! would this method of photographing traditional art work for prints? I’m thinking of getting into selling my art and there is no way I can spend money on a scanner right now!

You can use the iphone photo app too, the same thing you clicked to crop also has a color selection. I do think ig has a really great selection though.

It’s winter time and I’m always in school when the sun is out and by the time I get home it’s already kinda dark so I don’t know what to do with the lighting

Adobe Lightroom gives even greater control when editing photo images, esp., if you're editing a lot of images. The program allows you to automatically compensate for the lens of your particular dslr model. In addition to having some of the same features as most editing apps, you can edit out dust; adjust brightness/darkenss/saturation in specific areas; edit the metadata that is attached to the image (adding date, time, location, description, tags, title); and if you shoot in RAW, the program will automatically create a copy of the image, so that the original remains untouched, as you edit the copy, ensuring that the original is never lost.
