Does this camera take SD cards?
Does it front focus like the LX100 M1 and the GX85 I owned? Panasonic quality control in the Chinese factory is woeful.

It's simply not true to say that there aren't cameras with large sensors as small as the LX100. For a start, there's the Fujifilm XF10, which is way smaller – genuinely pocketable, which the LX100 isn't – and has a significantly larger APS-C sensor. Or the Ricoh GRII. I have both an XF10 and an LX100 Mk1. Sure the LX100 has a zoom lens and some other features lacking from the smaller XF10, but for image quality and unobtrusiveness the XF10 wins.
How would you compare the detail of the photos with the original LX100, since there's more resolution on the LX100 ll?

LX100 is excellent, no camera is perfect, but generally, the compromises made here give you a solid camera with great hands-on control. LX100 II improves on what already works. Yes, a bit of premium, but still good value.
How does this compare to the Gx85?
No – I'd choose the Fujifilm X-A5!

I own a Sony A6000, how does that Lumix compare with the Sony A6000?
4:08 The Ricoh GR and Fujifilm X70/XF10 have even larger sensors and in smaller bodies too. Or one could go for a 1 inch compact with a just-as-bright zoom lens and you'll have very similar performance since the LX100 doesn't use the full sensor, and you can actually fit those in a short or pant pocket.
