Today we’re looking at comparing a $1,000.00 camera VS an $8,000.00 camera. Specifically, the 80D vs the 1DXMK2. I have seen the 80D on sale as low as 999.99 which is why I went with that comparison price. Keep currency conversions in mind.
2 MASSIVELY different cameras. You may be saying, why would you compare 2 cameras on such a drastically different scale? That makes no sense and no one would ever compare those two – Yes and No. I wanted to go over a few of the features that MAKE a camera 8,000.00 opposed to those that don’t. The quality difference is also incredibly evident.

Lots of camera make Some kind of good pictures Bud one thing is missing and That is buildquality . Canon camera’s after two years of normal use look like crap and Value is like old iron waste. So buy Leica .

The 1 will always go to agencies and pros who tax deduct it completely. Manufacturers know that and dont mind charging astronomically.
The 5 would be a fairer comparison.
The vlogger is better off with smartphone or mirrorless. SLRs are designed primarily for photos. Video is only a bonus for which pros have dedicated equipment.

To me, the 80D is best "bang for your buck" , like dont get me wrong the 1D is an absolute monster but to me its not worth 8,000 dollars, should be like 3,000 tops. The 1D is the camera you should only get if you have the money for it.
