HDR Photography also known as High Dynamic Range Photography is a Photography technique which is used in high dynamic range scenes. This HDR Photography Tutorial video consists of two HDR Photography Techniques and also HDR Photo Editing in Adobe Lightroom.

HDR Photography can be done in many ways but the technique covered in this HDR Photography video gives by far the best HDR result. This HDR Photography technique can be used while shooting sunrise, sunset or any other scene which covers a lot of dynamic range.

DSLRs nowadays can capture a lot of dynamic range but still there is a limit to it. So we use HDR Photography. Hope this HDR Photography Tutorial helps you in capturing HDR images.

    I think I understand HDR photography well now. What I just do not understand so well (and what I do not see very well in this tutorial, or which HDR video also on youtube): When and how do you choose the number of photos and the difference of stops?
    When 5 photos with stops from: -2 -1 0 1 2 ???
    or
    When only 3 photos and -2 0 2 …. ???
    Or maybe choose for half stops or 1/3 stops?!?!?

    What is the formula 🙂

    Good tutorial.. I always imagined HDR makes photos look unreal, but actually if you're not overdoing it it makes photos look closer to reality. I'll try it on my next trip!
