You need to check the 2 plate covers, because I am sure they are illegal in a lot of states in the US and all over Australia. As for the spray, you are in charge of the vehicle, so you are responsible. And police or other government departments don't like being done out of money.

This product is great, however will encourage more idiots to speed and drive through red lights. This rumour that cameras save lives is sought of true. It will deter law breakers as they don't want pay a fine, so they temporarly follow the rules and after they're out of sight, they continue breaking the road rules. However Speed alone USUALLY DOESNT kill. It's in addition with other reckless driving behaviour, such as switching lanes without doing a headcheck, or simply not giving people time to respond.

here is another little bit that all officers seem to forget after a certain amount of time on the job: if you have a plate from a different state you don't have to obey the laws for the state you are travelling in's plates. let me explain a little more so people wont get confused. if you have a license plate from ohio and are travelling in texas. if your state says its legal to have your plate in the window and not on the car then you don't have to stop and put the plate on the car to travel thru the state. I work as a used car dealer driver/transporter (yes I know dealer tags etc.) I have been stopped by police in a different state then where the tag I have is from and they tell me that "you cant have that there because this state doesn't allow it" I just tell them that the plate Is from a different state and therefor don't have to follow the state's in am in laws (because its true) I 99% of the time have the plate I use in the back window where you can read the numbers and the expiration date, as long as they can see those with the naked eye then its legal for me to travel.

I worked with a guy who had a personalized plate from VA. "Da Doc". He was in Georgia working and got a speeding ticket in his mail when he returned. It was from New Jersey and the car in the photo was not even close to what he was driving. The state was not visible on the photo of the plate. This is how they are ripping off people. They just do a nationwide search for that plate and mail a ticket to everyone who comes up as a match.
These are all passive techniques. I like the anti-paparazzi solution that has a sensor and a flash unit next to each of the vehicle's plates. When the vehicle sensor detects a camera flash, it triggers its own counter flash unit to blind the camera taking the picture. The response flash is so fast it renders the red light cameras null.
