Hi Adam, I use my front control wheel to adjust both my shutter speed when the dial is set to T mode and also as its clickable I can change the iso, both when looking through the EVF. I find this works better than adjusting the wheels on the top plate.

  2. very good Adam. Great images.

  3. John Wesolowski says

You made my day! I’m getting the xt3. I’m a canon aficionado and will be able to use my canon lenses on the xt3.

  4. Jesús Méndez says

Thank you for your review Adam, finally an average person review and not a paid one where everything is fantastic and the product is the best there is, I really enjoyed it.

I'm planning buying it for nature in its majority but also in the near future some video and scuba diving (with its proper underwater housing) as where I live (Tenerife, Canary Islands) we have some nice below sea level scenery as well.

By the way, absolutely lovely location, you're very lucky to have it such beutiful place near by (or within driving distance from your home).

  5. Lou Fonolleras says

Adam, great images! Had to check out your review again, as I ordered the camera yesterday. They’ve been out of stock from time to time here in the states. BTW, I’ve been enjoying your podcast.

  6. SuperDigitalMe says

This is not a cropped sensor its a sensor AS IS, aps-c.

The X-T3 has treated me so well! I hope you're loving yours still! Also, your thumbnail was sick!

  9. B H says

Landscape? You could use any of the Fujifilm cameras for landscape. Cam usually sits still on a tripod..

  10. 6:42 you say that it doesn't track an object that isn't a face but it actually can do that if you put the little button in the bottom right corner on the front on C.

  11. sentaur14 says

Inspirational… despite the fact you are actually reviewing a camera, it makes me feel like picking up my camera and go take photos – NOT PICKING up my wallet to order latest/greatest.

  12. itsabe11 says

Hi, thanks for your insights! Can you do a tutorial on long exposure with the fujifilm x camera? Perhaps about settings, timing, and what kind of filters to use? Thank you!

  13. Ken Cox says

Nice review watching the tide come in was a bit scary knowing how fast tide can suddenly be on top of you , What lighthouse was that btw in the background 🙂

  14. roberto cordero says

So you can put the camera longer than 30sec shutter speed?

  15. Randy Smith says

you don't use an L-Bracket I guess, because I don't think I have seen an flip out screen where you can use the L-Bracket and the same time, unless of course the screen comes over the top of the camera, and with that you loose the EVF on top of the camera. I think the tilt screen is a fair compromise considering.

  16. Forsaken says

Hi Adam, would you be kind enough to link the lense and stop you used? So I may purchase the adding you recommended for the results in your review?

    Thank you kindly.

    Canon s DooDoo..

  18. Andre Pinto says

Great video!!! I am having an issue with this lens (XF10-24mm) on my X-T3. I have tried different settings, shutter speeds, apertures etc but 8 out of 10 of my photos have very low quality when I zoom in 1:1 on Lightroom. There is no sharpness whatsoever from corner to corner, they are extremely pixelated. Is there anyone having the same problem?

  19. Dr.Kutulu says

"Some of the apple stuff that we buy". Lol, ok bud.

  20. Chris Oposnow says

I have a x100F. I'm thinking about getting a 50mm 1.4 and an 85mm 1.8 lens. If that doesn't work. I'll just bite the bullet and sell the lenses.

  21. Colin Ashcroft says

Great review. Do you think this camera would be good for macro photography? I'm thinking about buying a camera in this price range for that purpose.

  22. Thawatchai Sangkla says

It's a awesome review, thank you so much 🙂

  23. Evan Carrillo says

    Waw😮Nice shots 👌

  24. Alex X says

    Great review!

  25. Olli2112 says

What a great Video Adam, thanks. At the moment i have to make the decision if i buy the XT-3 or the Sony A7Mark3. I will use it for landscape and architecture photography and the usual family shots you make at home. Watching YT Videos for days and it doesn't bring me forward in my decision. The Sony camera of course would be at least 1000 euros more expensive (would buy it with a Tampon 28-70). Can you give a advice if the higher price pays off?

  26. Craig Houdeshell says

    What is your backpack? Thanks.

  27. Azntrutek2012 says

The best X-T3 real world reviewer on youtube. Keep up the good work sir.

  28. Naser Al Shuqaihi says

I still can’t believe this is an aps c sized camera

  29. craig wilson says

nice vlog and im booked to stay near there in june and its nice to see what i can shot even if im mainly after the lighthouse, im tempted to buy a fuji as everyone raves about them, how do you think it will fair in say shooting nightscapes, did you try any low light images?

  30. Ian Spicer says

Great video Adam, thank you…..and I certainly agree about 'on-road' food …..perhaps Fuji could open some restaurants for Landscapers? 🙂

  31. Doug Stringer says

    Adam:
One thing you could do with the strap knob on the right side of the body is to first mask off the rest of the body with tape leaving the knob exposed and then grind and polish it down to your requirements. A simple way to make the camera a custom fit.

  32. Branden says

Review aside, fantastic video in its own right. Appreciated

  33. Thomas Geist says

I have a T3 and have not tried long exposure yet. Usually take a reading, focus manually then make the exposure compensation. Did I hear you say the T3 will do all that for you? Can it auto-focus with a 10-stop ND filter?

  34. Tapasya Tyaga says

I just bought an XT-20 with the XC 16-50 mm and XC 50-230 mm telephoto lenses all for $800 [all new…not preowned]. I thought that was a great deal.

I wanted the XT-3 but economics kicked in. I would be spending at least 3 times the price for the XT-3 with the same lenses.

What do you guys think about the XT-20 and the lenses [lower end lenses not as good as the XF series] that I got. Did I make a good choice….I'm not a professional photographer…just learning now.

Don't know a lot about photography yet but hope I made a good choice.

  35. THE DAVESTATION says

I have owned the Canon 40D, 50D, 60d 70D 80D, 6D, and the 5D MK3 and MK4……and now i own this X-T3 and my findings after all of these cameras and thousands of photographs? You just do not need a full frame camera.

  36. Georgi Kirov says

With regards to the strap holder notch, it works so much better in conjunction with the strap and the small leather pieces on it.

  37. MohondhaY says

5:01 which place is that? Looks so peaceful and amazing!

  38. Bas de Vries says

Can't you use your phone as a shutter release?

  39. Richard Stollar says

You can get 3rd stop increments by changing the aperture – but of course you knew that 😉

  40. J.J Lee says

Very nice review, thank you! Do you know why Fujifilm has a basic 160 ISO, when most other have 100 or even less?

  41. David Porter says

I tilt my screen mostly upwards or downwards. That works perfectly with tilting. A flip (out) screen is quite annoying/inconvenient for my use, therefore I am very happy with Fujis tilting screens.

  42. Harold clark says

Great review. I have the xt2 best camera I’ve had

  43. T C Lim says

Loved your review. You convinced me to give the XT3 a try. Bought one for Christmas family portraits and in a few days it has grown on me. Great colours and it handles so well. Love those dials. Best of all it connects to the Fuji instax printer for instant photos.

  44. Marco pereira says

solid than xt2? the knobs on the xt3 fells very china!!!

  45. B H says

Which lens is it? Did I miss that?

  46. Espinal Photography says

Great review, but I want people to stop referring Fuji X cameras as “cropped sensor” cameras.
Fuji makes their lenses compatible to their sensor size.
If you think about it, a “full frame” sensor is cropped if you compare it to a large format sensor.

  47. Asif Hasnat Monon says

    Amazing review, keep it up
I'm a fan of you from today

  48. Ray Alvarez says

I LOVE This. Thanks for sharing. Right now I am using the XT-2 – https://youtu.be/HFyGAYbRlpc

  49. Kay says

    XT3 loves 50mm F2 forever.
