What is the best time to take city/street photos? Great video.
Please don’t crash anything 🙂
i switch to back button focus from watching your video. i have to say that it took quite some times to get use to it, and now i love it… it works miraculously!!
should have attached a telescope to that cam.
If you set your back button to Focus Lock instead then you can have both, the speed of the half pressing the shutter release button and the autofocus disabled when you hold the back button. Another advantage of setting it this way is that you can easily share your camera to your friends and they will be able to focus it naturally.
would it matter whatever camera we use? cause i use a Cannon Rebel T6 so would it really matter or just keep experimenting ?
Keep up the great work Pierre, totally agree with you about needing to try and commit and shoot regularly as that's how you develop as a photographer and become increasingly as one with your gear👍
Hay Pierre, love your enthusiasm. Drink less coffee! 😉 As an amateaur, for street photography, I use a Ricoh GRii. I leave my heavier Pentax and lenses at home, or maybe, in my backpack for special situations. But definitely, for street, I LOVE my GRii. Thank you for your videos!
So cool Pierre!
I just love the energy you project.
merci pour tout l'aide avec la photographie pierre
In street I always shoot A-priority with min-SS 250. It's really handy to assign custom button to change quickly the min-SS.
Oh God, I’m the 666th like 😭
I love you tho 💙
I mainly use a Canon 80D for low light street photography BUT I also have a Nikon D3300 (which I absolutely love) and I have some cool Sigma glass for it. I'm sticking with these cameras until I'm ready to level up to a Sony A7II or III. Does anybody else use a Canon 80D or Nikon D3300 for low light street photography?
you never get disturbed by noises !
Hey Pierre, another awesome video again. as usual with my pen and notebook taking down notes while watching. Just a question – What is the alternative metering mode for "highlights"? have replayed it many times but cannot properly hear the mode.
BOOOOOOORINGGGGGGGGG.
Great video again I love
Good video Pierre!!!! I strongly believe people need to practice using various settings to see what works under certain conditions and what is best for their style. Your original street photography video still pops up in YouTube as a top street photography video.
I am done with the complications of using a DSLR for street and am seriously considering either the X100F or GRiii. I feel a larger DSLR forces the photographer to get more artsy shots. Hope we get to see more street challengers in 2019
Best Wishes!.
Continue making videos.. one day it'll all pay off
I love your videos and thanks for sharing your experiences,
your knowledge, and your simpathy in your videos. Really thanks!
AAAAAHHHH Pierre you are so cute every time! First this sentence: if it will help one person i will upload it… and than your thanking for us to be with you… almost cried dude xD Now i can watch this video in peace xD
I like you Pierre, but not this video. Nothing to do with real street photography. You have better videos (like that Sean Tucker video).
I don't have a camera but I love photography and this channel so I still watch this anyway 😂
Magnificent video as always Pierre! You inspired us with your street photography techniques and tutorial! We started our youtube channel to featured top street photos daily. Hope we can inspire other photographers as well!
loved the presentation. your thick accent is so cool
What focus mode do you recoment for street photography with moving objects?
My old canon focus was always back button
It helped me forsure
Unique style! Great story! Love the train noise!!!
Keep it coming thank you!
👍👍👍👌😎
BBF is a game changer ! I ve been using it for 2 years now and it helps a lot to get quicker shots. Specially if you wanna play with your zoom. A good trick is to zoom optically max, use the digital zoom helper if needed, and get the focus with the BBF. Then you can change your focal as many times you wanna it to frame perfectly the picture and maybe shoot different option without re focusing each and every time ! 😎
You’re better at telling secrets, I just tell people to shoot and really that’s all it takes for me
Big energy. Cela m'inspire a faire plus de photos. Merci.
I like your ideas and style of shooting. Street photography is my weak point but I think I can improve it with your tips on shooting from the hip. I don't want to make people mad so I usually just skip any close ups or singling anyone out. I really enjoy your videos.
Street photography? Gear? Well for me I just need Ricoh GR II, pack light…incognito. If bring those full frame really attract criminals want to try to steal.
lol… in case anyone wonders why i like the countryside… watch this 😁
Good man and always very helpful ,Pierre…!!!.all the best!!!
Great composition all thro this video. Try not to speak while looking away….the volume drops off. Gr8 day 2U.
You have always been helpful in helping me becoming a better photographer. thank you
I find useful Aperture priority in some situations. What is your opinion on shooting on a manual lense in urban photography? I try to get comfortable with it, although sometimes you may loose some spontaneous moments.
This video is so helpful and inspiring! I can’t wait to start playing with camera settings and exploring some new ideas! Thank you. I subscribed roughly 2 months ago and I’m so glad I did! I can’t wait for 30 Days to Great Photos! I am really looking forward to pushing my creativity and getting out of my comfort zone with photography!
