I learned to twist the on-camera-flash to bounce off the gold reflector – that's important and enough for me 🙂

i think you should've put a reflector on the right side of the subject
What is a "white over silver" reflector? Is the assistant holding two reflectors? i.e. a silver behind a white scrim? So not too much of the flash is lost?

The photo turned out great but the parents are so fake it's sickening…
Don't you think the bounced light is a bit harsh? Probably we are viewing this in Srgb format, I am getting that feel or the apple screen is giving that impression. I am sure the original pic must be looking much better.😊

hey does anyone have a good flash to buy that can get the job done and isnt too complicated. i own the yn600ex rt and hate it.

What do you do if you don't have an assistant to hold up reflectors/etc. ? Working with one flashgun ?
Do you have tutorials for those of us doing this without an assistant? (I have been doing this many years and that is not going to happen.)
