Really wish I spent that $300 on this instead of the Susan stripling creative live series. Her husband is even in the Fstoppers video. Oh well. Still got some great stuff from her too.

Looks like an incredible amount of work was put in to making this video. Am looking to retire shortly and am looking for something to supplement my income. This might be what I'm looking for. In my opinion this is the best way to get that inside knowledge that is simply unattainable without tagging along with a professional. I think this is a fantastic value. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

  17. Thanks guys, all I needed is here, right in this video)

That troublesome situation when your nephew (who's been a loser for all of eternity, by the way) gets a jaw-dropping girl to fall for him in 3 weeks? Yep, that basically materialized. I know I ought to be happy nevertheless I would rather it to be me. He said he applied the the Cupid Love System (Search for it in Google). I wanna hide out in a cave at this moment.

  23. James Stonley says

hey fstoppers, I've been asked to shoot my friends wedding next year. He's on a tight budget and i've offered to for free as this is my first ever wedding. I'm using a d300 and 50mm 1.8 at the moment. I have 8 months to build the skills and confidence and gear. What would you say (apart from this dvd which I plan to buy) is going to be my most important purchase/ rental for the day? the groom doesn't expect shots from a professional but I know how to shoot manual and I want to do my best.

I know a few people that use Sony Vegas and it's good for them. I have never tried it. I only use Final Cut 7.

  25. DreamLoveGrow says

you should try to get one with a higher f-stop than f/4.0. not sure what others are out there that are cheaper off hand (quick google comparison) but it's worth your money – faster, better in low light and shallower depth of field.

  26. DreamLoveGrow says

thumbs up if the first time you clicked on this video, the ad that was playing in the beginning was the same video.

Okay so I can't afford a 24-70 f/2.8 L lens for my Canon 60D, what would you recommend instead? Sigma? Tamron? Or maybe the Canon f/4.0 L ??? Thanks.
