Your video has a harsh contrast makes it hard to see , but pleasing to see landscapes. Content is great and very helpful +

What tripod are you using? Any tips for capturing images for panoramics using a miniature tripod?

  5. TheAristoKrat17 says

Such an amazing video! I just purchased the X-T20 and this will be my first camera other than the one I’ve been using on my phone. Was looking at the X-T30, but figured I could invest the extra money into some cool lenses! What do you think?

  6. Serge Naraiskih says

Thanks for your video's!!! Still got a question – is there (T20) possibility like with x100f to have it controlled via smartphone and have smartphone as a screen for your self-video? Also was wondering if T20 has same color and black and white possibilities like Acros in X100f for example…. dont they come together with new updates?

Fab video…because it shows who you are and what you love…and isn’t that what a camera should do?? Those colors!!!!!! This is what I have been searching for…tired of videos with spec after spec….you showed me the camera’s soul…but my worry is,,,will it overwhelm me? I am going to England to my son’s wedding next fall.I would love your input…could a 66 year old figure it out…a young one!? Thank_you! Gorgeous and enjoyable!

  16. Aldo Costagliola says

I have a Xt2 and I can confirm every word. The shooting experience, the touch and feel is something that all those people with fisherman vests with filters in every pocket and bulky Canon bodies will never understand.

  17. Thomas Ng says

Andrew what do you use to film your videos?! They are always on point brother.

  18. Puck says

Bought myself a xt-20 18-55mm for my backpack trip after watching this video. I was soooo excited, but I’m kind of doubting whether I should go for a x100f instead of the xt20 because of the size… I find the xt20 quite big because of the lens. What are your thoughts on these cameras?

  19. Alex Silva says

The footage from the a7 in this video is curing my cancer

  20. M A says

1080p? LMAO! Cannot take you seriously.

  21. Mathew Rupp says

I really like Fuji for many of the same reasons but it's lacking one critical thing for my use and that's weatherproofing. In the 70's I had a Nikon F2 and several lens it was great but heavy and I wanted to have something lighter when I didn't want to haul around the F2. I bought a Fuji Fujica ST901 it was smaller, lighter and was one of the first automatic cameras. It had one problem the electronics couldn't survive the humidity of the Philippines'. The F2 with it's primitive electronics survived and was with me for another twenty years. Can you imagine using the same body for twenty years today. Eventually I just used point and shoot cameras for the past couple of decades and these had the same problem as my ST901 they didn't last very many trips to the hot and humid places that I like to go. My last point and shoot was fine when I took it to New Zealand but on the way back a week stay in the Fuji Islands did in the camera. Other then the lack of weather proofing I love the X-T20 first is the old school look, also being able to do most of your adjustments on top of the camera, I hate messing with menus. I'm looking at the Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II and the Panasonic G85. One other advantage of these two cameras is the lenses available for armature photographers. It's just hard to justify $1000 for a lens when your not making money with it.

  22. Alwysing says

thank you, I just got my Xt20

  23. GURken says

wow dude, did you just tuned all of the menus on a post-processing to the max? what's happened with contrast?

  24. David Cuong says

I am having a Nikon D7000 with one 50mm 1.8G only, It's getting too big and heavy in my bag :). Travel is my job and I love photography. Anyway, not a pro-one. Should I wait for the XT30 or get this XT20 and the kit lens for $1000 in my place? since I love the EVF and this one seems not very good in some review in term of EVF and Focus?

  25. D Nguyen says

Great video! I see you don't use a lens hood, you don't have problem using this lens without it?

  26. David Sabovich says

Great video! Are most of your stills JPEG or RAW? I assumed JPEG since you mentioned it in the video, but then I saw that you sell presets for LR. What do you find that you use most? I always go back and forth on my Fuji.

  27. Fatal Pain says

Thank you for this video. I needed this before buying a suitable camera. This is brilliant!

  28. Tim Renton says

Otherwise this is easily the best and most interesting of all the YT videos about Fuji cameras I've seen recently because you're focused on image creation and not equipment and specifications. There's also less of you talking and more showing of your photos which I think are great btw they brought back good memories for this European of road trips in the great West. I think a second hand XT-1 is going to be my next camera for ll the reasons you highlight. I learned on film, been into photography since 1982. Your video highlights my issue with digital image creation and manipulation (I won't call it photography, photography for me means film) which is that it is mind numbingly boring for the most part, sitting in front of a computer screen fart arsing around with stuff that I don't understand and by the time I've got my head around it has all changed again. I have a shitty Olympus mirrorless camera which four years on I still don't know my way around the crappy menu. I had photoshop elements 9. I used it maybe half a dozen times and lost interest, it's too difficult to use and too boring.
Film photography and basic dark room techniques the basics of which you can learn in a week end and you will spend a lifetime mastering whereas digital will continually foil and frustrate.

  29. Tim Renton says

You riding a motorbike wearing a T shirt?!!!

  30. Ash Haight says

All and all, this is a great video. I want this camera.

  31. Gypsy Girl says

What camera are you using to film yourself? The xt20? 🙂

  32. ajottam das says

That frame at 6:41. Awesome man, I just found your channel and your photos are amazing. Like a breath of fresh air. Keep it up man, you got 1 more loyal subscriber.

  33. Jakob Goldmann says

Did you edit the Photos? Even If only light and color corrections.

  34. Maud521 says

Hey! I am seriously considering buying this camera, as my first own 'next level camera'. I'll be using it for travel mostly, but I also love taking portraits. Now, of course, it's much cheaper with the 15-45 mm lens than the 15-55 mm (about 200 euros and I'm a student lol). Is it worth it or not? I need advice!!

  35. Mariana Pádua says

    fuji x-t20 or x-t100?

  36. Salvatore Silvestri says

Hi, can you explain how does the camera manage timelapses? Does it have a built in feature to compose a timelapse video or it just take a set of pictures? Thank you.

  37. Benjamin Kanarek says

I have 2 x Fujifilm 18-55 f/2.8-4.0 lenses. One for Freddy for the videos she shoots and one for me in case I need to use it while she is shooting video. That is one heck of a brutally sharp lens… Here is just one example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJ3RmUE0ALI It is a real keeper! Oh and this video is nominated for best fashion video category…

  38. Miguel Saad says

Do not buy Fuji cameras. My lasted two years only. Don't even think about fixing it – the price is the same amount of a new one.I really regretted buying Fuji.

  39. Fahad Al Othman says

Watch less YouTube and take more photos… enough said!

  40. Ritesh Tandon says

Hey, Can you tell your gear while making this video? Most of the video seems non xt20 would love to know about your gear.

  41. 레디 says

Thank you for introducing me this camera. Can you tell me what kind of mode do you use? And do you use light room classic ?

  42. Choc Elle says

Sexiest fujifilm review and film/photo I’ve ever seen! Kudos to you and kudos to me for getting this camera! 😂👏🏼📸

  43. Carl Reid says

    Hi Andrew
After a number of months deciding between Sony A6000 and Fujifilm cameras and thanks to subscribing to your excellent channel I finally plumped for the X-T20 last weekend together with the XF 18-55 2.8-4 kit lens. Could you advise what filters I should buy next to protect the lens and also for landscape photography.
    Cheers Carl
