What is your favorite camera accessory?

The packing blanket idea is genius! I am always fighting light and noise and these look to be a great solution. Curious how the Neewer C-stand is working out for you. All my light stands and single C-stand are Manfrotto and I have had them for 8-10 years and they still work great. I bought one Impact light stand from B&H and it broke within a year. Since then I have been reluctant to try lesser known brands.

My favorite thing to use on the shoot is… MY CAMMERA!

Hey Dunna, I know your Pixi Evo tripod wasn't mentioned here, but I was wondering if you could help me figure out how to attach a quick release plate to that tripod so I can swap between a vlogging setup and a static tripod setup. Keep the videos coming!

  5. Lyndon Alvarez says

Does the Roland Recorder have the option for a security track / attenuator for one of the channels built in?

  6. Run N Gun says

Great list Dunna! My favorite from the list is Clamps, they're always coming in handy!

Hi, Dunna, do you like your monitor, are you going to make a review?) Or you can just write a few sentences here. And how often do you use it?

  14. AudioCraZ says

You didn't say Gaff Tape… sacrilege! I don't know if I can watch you anymore… LOL! For my setups, I always have 2x 25' power cords, several xlr, and a small backup mixer in my car at all times.

  15. Richard Crowe says

For still photography – I will always use an Arca Compatible L bracket to mount my camera to the tripos/monopod clamp. I found that my Canon 7Dii bracket works fine with the A6500 but I purchased a Chinese model specifically for this camera

I know some people scoff at them due to their price tags, but one of my favorites are straps from Peak Design, and it's mostly due to their quick release anchors.

Used the Cuff on my a6000 when I ditched the neck strap since it was a pain to pack into my small bag and also wanted a hand strap. It performed pretty damn well. I just got a Fujifilm X-T3 and the one thing that I made sure to get was one of those straps. I could actually buy the anchors themselves and use the Cuff on them, but I decided to go with the Slide Lite (got it for a solid deal). So I can switch between the Slide Lite and the Cuff easily between both the X-T3 and the a6000.

Those quick release anchors are not only a big deal for me due to the ease of switching, but also because it allows me to easily remove the strap if it'll get in the way of a tripod.

  20. Jessie Nacar says

Great video Dunna. What ND filter you use on your 18-105?

  21. Cheer Ice says

Actually, this is pretty compact than I expected. Especially the mini-tripod.

  22. J. Janssen says

Hey Dunna. Great Video, thanks for that. I Love your in in Video Text. Can you give me a tip how you do them ? Thank you and greetings from Germany

  23. BackpackingVideos says

Between the Manfrotto Evo Pixi tripod and the Gorillapod 3K, which would you go with for the A6500? Also, can recommend a quick release plate for the Manfrotto so I can quickly move my camera between my main tripod and a vlogging setup?

Hi Guys, need your help in Winter

I had the problem, that we went outside (in Switzerland Oeschinensee) and it was like -15 to -5°C. I put my Camera gear in the backpack and when we started the shooting, there was a "ghost effect" on my screen. Now I know, it was because of the LCD screen and not the sensor. The Liquid Cristals werent able to move fast enough so the clip looked like I shot it with 1/5 shutter (or something like that). It was really not comfortable to film in these situations, because I unmounted the camera from the Gimbal so I can take it in my jacket, then 15min later had to put everything together again, sometimes I had to balance my gimbal. GOD DAMN IT WAS SO FREAKING ANNOYING! What do you do in those situations?
I have a Lumix GH5 and IKAN EC1 gimbal and using PeakDesign everyday backpack (20L).
