Hi Dalia, thank you very much for making this video. It was driving me nuts when my black backgrounds kept showing up BLUE! So I know how to fix that now, but for the photo of the blanket that you fixed, how did you get rid of the blue tint in the background without also desaturating the blue in the blanket? I didn't see you just select the background or anything so I'm confused. Thanks again!

Great tips here's another.. set the background in photoshop so that you can adjust your whites/grey correctly against it. I set my background to #fafafa and then every time I edit a photo I adjust the greys inside the photo to match the background set in photoshop. This way I always get the same lighting for every product I shoot.

I make doll clothes for 18 inch dolls. I use a trifold foam board with paper on it that looks like white wood. I have trouble with shadows on my background. I use the doll with the clothes on it for my product photos.

I sell dog bone toys and it always seems to be either too near or too far. I tried taking it from the same distance but it is really hard to judge. My shop is http://www.puptails.etsy.com

I seem to not do enough with the photos or to much. I am not to a point that I can hire a photographer.
