I spent a couple of days this wintery weekend in the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York.
I’ve had a photograph in my head since I’ve moved to NY, that I want to capture – it’s a shot of the #Adirondacks in winter that no one has captured yet.
Inspired by Peter Mckinnon, I’ve made this image My #BucketShot.
As photographers, we’re not successful 100% of the time. If we were, then photography wouldn’t be much fun.
It’s the challenge – the thrill of the pursuit – that’s what makes it fun for me at least.
I also think persistence, even in the face of failure is important as a photographer. It’s the difference between GOOD vs GREAT Photographers. We all fail, but not everyone gets back up.
