Astronomers revealed the first image ever taken of the event horizon of a supermassive black hole, captured by an array of eight ground-based radio telescopes located around the world. Bob McDonald, host of CBC’s Quirks & Quarks, explains what we’re seeing.

Not even one dissenting voice, Sounds like Scientific propaganda, the epicycles of our time. “Expanding Horizon” should be “Expanding dogma”.
Is everybody in the same page? You better be, or else! Where the astrophysicist is the high priest (the clergy) and the particle the singularity is the supreme Infinity entity, and gravity is the Holy Spirit and the “Laity” is the audience that buys this stuff without question! How the tables have turned since the time of Galileo.
Black holes is a product of the imagination that is expressed in the language of mathematics. Why is it of the imagination? Because the theory ignores other physical principles (positive forces) which would prohibit the existence of such monsters. The paradox is introduced by the ones that insist on the existence of black holes, and neglect the other conservative principles in the universe, then it becomes a mathematical Fiction which does not pertain to reality! It is the biggest intellectual scam in astrophysics of all times.

THE BLACK HOLE is a Purely a mathematical concept and a physical fallacy
The problem with the concept of black holes is that it is totally mathematical concepts, unfortunately for these armchair scientists Mathematica is not physics. In addition the singularity is it purely mathematical Notion, these astrophysicist attempt to shoe horn this into reality, but in doing so they create logical contradictions and also introduce violations of known physical laws.

I swear we took a photo of a black hole last year. It was the exact same photo too. Either that I’m having hardcore déjà vu

    What did he just say?
    Wow.. Sounds very complicated.

  17. im12run2trouble says

He said you can't get any bigger then the earth so why didn't we put a telescope or a few telescopes on the moon they could of added to this project?

  18. whostolemyTV says

The seeming simplicity of it is what makes it so beautiful. Also don;t forget people, information was gathered using Radio Waves, so the image you see if a "seeable" version of it juxtaposed onto the visible light spectrum

  19. This isn't true. I've seen many black holes in my lifetime. (Wink)

If a black hole has enough suction and is supposedly sucking up all light around. How was it, the light surrounding the black hole that is being sucked in is also being projected towards us to see in a telescope.

Great vid until the reporter overides the scientist. Really want to see the rest of the technical explanation.

  30. Carmine LaRosa says

Actually there is no such thing as a black hole in a plasma universe (greater than 99.999% plasma). What we are observing is a toroidial EM phenomenon that stores energy then discharges it effecting the creation of stars and galaxies. The visual image is what we see when we look into the direction of energy flow. All observable cosmic structures are EM phenomena, not gravitational. Many of these structures have been replicated in the lab since they are fractal, from the subatomic scale to the galactic super clusters: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Hzvvjh3_8g&feature=youtu.be&fbclid=IwAR2V2VLnsjK3zgexVz6pioCwmG452qBBJu3qjrdz8Xt5C7W3czba00yl3OE

"consistent with Einstein's predictions" Even scientists make terrible mistakes. Einstein didn't predict black holes. His general relativity field equations was solved by Schwarzschild and in the solution was the prediction of black holes. Einstein didn't even like the idea. This scientist should not have made the blunder since he works in the field and you can't trust anything he says. I wonder if he believes Einstein invented the internet and cell phones as well.

Everything forms the walls of the hole and all we see is the center.
Like looking through the top of a tornado.
