Who are the most famous photographers of all time? Hard to say but here is a top 10 with a list of incredible masters of photography. Even if you don’t know a lot about photography you have certainly heard of them. The choice we made was not based on the beauty of the work but on the popularity of the photographers and their images.

Really? No Steiglitiz or W Eugene Smith? And the list has Doisneau? Not sure where you studied Photo history…granted this is a very hard list to limit to 10, but based on popularity as you say your list is based on, you have a glaring error when you leave these 2 from the top 10 all time…That aside, it's a difficult list to assemble and not have controversy, so thanks for doing a list in the first place…
I'm surprised the most inspirational photographer is missing.. W. Eugene Smith.
