Hey guys, I’m back! Wanted to share my DIY newborn baby photo shoot…mad props to newborn photographers because this was TRYING!!! Milani was actually 4 days old here and this was the second day after coming home from the hospital. I spent I don’t know how long doing this and in between, diaper changes, feeding, crying…and not just the baby lol. I had like 100 pictures and only a select few made the cut before I gave up. Obviously not a professional over here, but I tried. Either way, I’m glad I was able to capture these pictures without spending an arm and a leg on them. I hope you enjoy!

What setting did you use on your camera for your pictures? I have a newborn & not sure the best settings are to use! Trying to get the most clear & crisp pictures I can with my canon βΊοΈ

A little heater is helpful to keep the little love warm. If you happen to do anymore. I always do the photos for my kids as well.

Pictures came out great. I donβt want to spend that much on newborn photos so I will be doing my own as well.

On the side note: in some of the picture her hands look mottled. This happens when it's too cold and the circulation to her skin is hampered as a result of her blood vessels constricting to conserve heat. Anybody watching please be aware hypothermia is a real danger to newborns. You might want to keep feeling your baby's hands and legs every few minutes to make sure they are warm. Also do the session in intervals, keeping the baby warm in-between sessions.
