Thats just crazy. I went to an all girls private Catholic school. We had a dress code but the most reprimanding anybody ever got was being asked to not wear something that violates it again. No detention or being pulled out of it. Because education is more important.
God, I'm appreciative for my school's really relaxed an barley inforced dress code. I wore a dress to a seventh grade dance that would get me turned away from this place.

I remember when I was in 8th grade, I wore these legging material jeans and my shirt didn’t cover to my knees and a guard caught me and made me leave class early, making a scene and I lost it and cried because I was so embarrassed and felt ashamed. So sad
Boys dont show there penises or breast haha! Men and women arent equal. A woman can get pregnant and breast feed a blessing from god. A woman has to be mindful for 7months that they have a baby in their stomach. When a war breaks out i’ll be sending myself and my 4 sons to fight. Not my wife, daughter, mother and grandmother. Women have their roles and men have theirs and there is nothing wrong with it.

My school did this for the middle school dance. I am 12 years old. They also have a rule that with skirts, it has to be longer than it is wide (hight must be more than width) meaning that the skinnier a girl is the shorter her skirt can be.

quit using prom as an excuse to dress like a stripper and schools might not have issue with it. 1 big thing they are overlooking in all these news complaints.. when these "kids" are forced into the job market.. they will be asked to do just the same. wear a uniform [even a suit is a form of a uniform] so no.. schools asking people to wear something appropriate is not bizarre.. considering almost every job out there has a dress code [even being a stripper has a dress code lol] "we should be allowed to wear what we want!!" uh.. no… in reality that isnt that doesnt really apply.. if i showed up to my factory job wearing a low cut see through thigh high slit dress.. i would be sent home in a heartbeat.. if i showed up to my nursing career wearing a crop top with booty shorts i would be sent home.. why people are acting like its ok to allow "kids" to wear revealing clothes when chances are they as adults arent "allowed" to wear them at their job is weird to me.. maybe instead of attempting to allow special treatment these teens can throw their own party [with out the schools involvement] then they can wear anything they want.
At my school I’ve wore the same pare of shorts for at least 3 year and never got in trouble for it, then the other week I got in trouble bc apparently they were to short

why is the dress code so much more important than our education and IF another school shooting, and why is it only girls getting dress coded and boys don't have a dress code only the girls have one. All we can were are T shirts longer than our butts and sweaters and jeans, it's way to ridiculous. We still haven't practiced for a school shooting it's ridiculous!

My opinion let the girls have their night and let them wear what they want for homecoming or prom but so,times I can understand why they don’t want a low cut because what if the dress gets caught on something and it lowers but I think 🤔 you should let the, have their night but this is my opinion I am not trying to hate on the girls they should be able to wear whatever they want

I think the school has right to have certain dress code. While taking the picture may be bit too far, I get it. The styles of prom dresses I've seen in the past couple years are just outrageous. Double standard, I guess yes maybe. But menswear tend ste be more simpler than womenswear

This didn't just happen to me at school. I actually lived in a group home and I could see that the smaller chested females get to wear V-necks while I was told to cover up, because my chest was Bigger. I understand their no crop top rule, because you know younger girls there. But I don't understand why I was literally told that wearing shorts that our fingers go past, is going to distract Creepy men. I was basically told that men being perverts is my fault. I understand that it was a Christian home and I loved the staff there. Really this was my only real problem with them. They did help me a lot with my depression and anxiety. But I just think they go to far with dress code
