Hi guys, more stuff from the wedding preparation. In this vlog we had our wedding cake consultation at Custom cakes Ireland. And Our pre-wedding shoot with the amazing “digitalbride photography”. We had such an amazing day. And you’d never be able to tell just how cold it was that day. Grateful to God that it was a success.

Q- Why do you wear your wedding ring on your right hand?
A- Before the Netherlands became a sovereign country, it was ruled for a long time by Spain and France ‘occupants’. Those countries were (and still are) predominantly Catholic. When The Netherlands became sovereign, the rulers were Protestants. Until today our Royalties are Protestant (Maxima being the exception). To show that they were not Catholic, people started wearing the wedding band on the right hand. So, still today you will see people with a the wedding band on the left hand (= Catholic) and other people with theirs on the right hand (= Protestants, Atheists and other demoninations.)
