Thank goodness for your video, honestly I hated the A5100 for portraits, until I took 2 mins to watch this and changed up the settings. I'm new to the Sony system, I'm so used to shooting with CANON that I hadn't explored the options with my Sony. These settings + Sigma's 30mm 1.4 Contemporary Lens are the perfect combination.

is there a way to see the image number, not 82/82 how many shot, but the actual image number to write it down maybe for a portrait session

Thank you for this, Mark! My biggest issues with portraits on the a6500 is the skin tones… they're just not as pleasing as with some other manufacturers, like Fuji. Besides the picture profiles, what else can I do in-camera to improve my skin tones? Thank you!

This is a great guide for a beginner or expert compositor. It starts off with the basics of extraction and how to shoot your subject and takes you all the way through creating wonderful composites for an array of different projects. It helped a great deal with my learning curve for composting pictures. This learning by doing method gave me the confidence to take on more complex projects and was very fun to do. https://twitter.com/arhaanctg1/status/898965859091206144

    I have two questions:
    1. Does Eye AF work, would you recommend it?
    2. Why not AF-A instead of AF-S because even a still subject can move
