Useful tips, but I would like to point out that increasing the ISO does not alter the sensor sensitivity, changing the ISO changes the gain applied to the signal coming from the sensor.

You insult Professionals with this tripe …….. Go and learn how a camera works before making poor inaccurate/misleading videos … what an amateur

Very good Tipps for photography! Very bad quality of video!

You are making very helpful videos, and I like them, but I dislike square videos!!

ISO does not reduce camera shake…the shutter speed does Only a complete idiot would tell you differently…. use a high ISO then add a 3 stop or 10 stop ND filter which will force the shutter speed to slow down creating the blur again and proving ISO is not the right advice…..Really bad advice from another self proclaimed Pro

Lol, from your website: "But first, I have to warn you about something: Registration for Digital Camera Mastery closes in 9h6m:29s." except the timer just resets once it hits 0. I know this is just some stupid sales tactic but it's also really disingenuous and makes it hard to believe anything you claim on your website.

Thank you! I would watch more of your videos but I virtually never use my Compact anymore (an old Canon PowerShot SX210). Having done comparison tests with my iPhone7 Plus at the standard focal lengths, the iPhone has FAR better results. I used to have a wonderful OM-1 back in the day, but don't miss carrying around the weight of everything in my camera bag. But still, there's much I can transfer from your videos to my iPhone work. Blessings.

From iso.org: "Because 'International Organization for Standardization' would have different acronyms in different languages (IOS in English, OIN in French for Organisation Internationale de Normalisation), our founders decided to give it the short form ISO. ISO is derived from the Greek isos, meaning equal. Whatever the country, whatever the language, we are always ISO."
It's a word 'iso', not an acronym 'I-S-O' – and it's actually not capitalized. Think isometric, isochronal or isosceles.
