You asked so here’s my export settings. One thing I forgot to mention about Lightroom export settings is that you can save the whole process as a preset, so I have a preset for high res, and then a preset for my blog size images etc.

This video help me to export high-resolution image thank you

  12. peteryungcp says

Haha…sRGB is NOT for printing! If export for printing you should work in "AdobeRGB" workflow from your Raw image…Please revise your video and don't confuse people XD. I think your setting for sharing and watching on screen are still too big(>10MB/file) if don't resize the image just enough for 4K resolution in 3840 pixels(common resolution nowadays of Monitor and Mobile devices)

Thanks. I just want to share some photos I made with my friends. I want them high quality but not sure highest settings is necessary. What would you suggest to make the file a little smaller?

Setting dpi without specifying the print size is meaningless. Just choose the desired picture size in pixels.

Hi Joy – I'm desperately trying to save high res JPGs but my LR is only making the files anywhere from 1-3MB. I've exported, renamed, file settings: JPG, sRGB, 100 and I've not checked the resize box. If you have any idea how I can bump it up it would be much appreciated! Thanks 🙂

You are too sweet. People don't like that such cute blondes. Show yourself and do not pretend to be someone you are not.

What if your exporting pictures for the client to put on a hard drive. What size would you do? That same?

Hey, I'm wanting to know how to make a file bigger and to have better resolution for very large canvas prints. Can you please help me? 💛

Hi Joy, great video. I set my JPEG export quality to 75% as I don’t see any difference between the exported JPEG and what I see in Lightroom zoomed all the way in. This will save a lot of disk space.

  35. Kboyce Productions LTD says

Great thanks for sharing, I normally use PhotoShop to edit. I would use the same settings for my exports, thanks again for sharing

  36. Alexis Lunsford says

Hi Joy! What size files do you export & deliver to clients? I’m trying to find the perfect size that they can both print & share online!

  37. johan bauwens says

Last year,  my settings were set to 66% quality and not 100% by accident. I only noticed it after a few babyshoots and weddingshoots (the jpegs were quite small, 3 Mb instead of 10 Mb), but the clients said they had never seen such sharp and detailed pics of themselves …

  38. Caitlyn Tyrrell says

Would love to know your opinions on presets and cost, as well as exporting/managing client galleries (not the backups) ! 🙂

  39. Jenny Parkins says

    Love your videos!

  40. Jacque Sudbrock says

This was great I usually export one by one. This will save me time. When you put tags on your photos to be SEO friendly does it ever get confusing if you are trying to find a specific image later if they are all similar in name?

  41. Abby Daughtry says

YES! I have been waiting for this video for so long!!

  42. Lindsey Ford says

do you export them at 300 res and send those to the clients or are you just exporting them at that setting for your backup?

  43. Lauren Leyba says

Do you shoot and edit in sRGB or do you make that change somewhere along the way?
