If someone comes here to really see how to setup a camera for a wedding, it's someone that must not shoot a wedding.

    Nice video thanks, quick question.
When shooting with dual cards if you create lots of folders doest it create a folder on both cards? I shoot events and have 50 or 60 different categories, shoot 10,000 pics and would like to shoot large jpg for prints and small jpg for fast transfer to a computer and super fast upload to a gallery. Thanks

I would also think about using Highlight Tone Priority in Camera3 panel. This helps stop the bride's dress being blown out in the sunshine – cos there's nothing worse than a head perched on top of a white cone!

I don’t shoot weddings, but I’m a big believer in we can all learn off each other no matter what genre. ISO is frequently used for wildlife photography, where tracking your subject can take the settings through several different meter readings. I can imagine, especially in older churches with the larger windows, the bride can walk through several meter readings just walking down the aisle. Are these permanent settings or stored in one of the custom settings? The reason I’m asking is for when you use artificial light and the impact of auto ISO there.

Its hard for me to understand why you do not place the camera body in M mode when shooting inside the church.  Shooting in M with the flash in E-TTL provides a much higher chance of getting well-exposed photos.  Av should be reserved primarily for outdoors during the day light.  Av causes the flash to be in Fill Mode, but it should usually be in Key mode.

setting min shutter speed doesn't work. How so?

  22. Creative Me says

Just curious why is your Picture Style set to Neutral vs. Standard? Is Neutral the best setting for indoors or best for most locations? Thank you kindly.

I have been wishing for a "magic button" that sets a minimum shutter speed for years! I shoot natural light with lots of little kids – I have a lot to think about without micromanaging my shutter speed in full manual. Thank you!!!!!
