Lumia's are have the best camera to use for low light areas. I use mine all the time when I got to concerts. I was thinking of getting a 1520 to replace my 830, but I wasn't sure if it was any better, now I know it is and has the addition of recording in 2160p which is a great option to have. At 2:30 it had me convince that I found a successor!!

Hi, I had a question about the microphone you used. I live in the netherlands and I can use something like that for my recordings. Do you recommend something (a microphone) like that in the first place and secondly how long is the cord? And lastly the productname if you are able to provide me the answers I would appreciate it. Cheeers

Thank you for this review. I have a  Zune HD, lumia 900, lumia 920 and just bought a 1520 (will be here in the mail in a couple hours ). As a graphic artist and amateur photographer I find windows phone to appeal to me the most, both in user interface and in my cases the camera.

I just wanted to say thank you for taking pictures of interesting subject material with an artistic approach. I think your pictures are some of the best I have seen taken with a 1520. You have escalated my excitement by a factor of 10. Thank you for the video 😀

I got my Lumia 1520 yesterday and today I've been testing it quite well. I'm really frustrated since I'm having an 'issue' with the camera. Here is what happens.

    -I take the photo
-Open the image(It looks really sharp and perfect just as I focused it)
-After a second it blurs a little bit and all the sharpness goes away and I'm left with a not so sharp looking image on my cellphone screen. (Once I upload it to my desktop it is sharp and perfect)

But it frustrates me that I can't see the picture in it's best quality on the very cellphone.

What's going on? Is my camera or cellphone screen defective? Some settings that I need to apply? Please help!

Can you maybe explain how is the quality compared with the Nokia Lumia 1020 since that is said to be the 'photography' phone?

I had a 1520 on trial from connects and have to say I did really like it. I found it better than the 1020.
