Just got back from short, small town display. Had a lot of trouble from the residual smoke there because there was no wind do it just stayed there. Seemed this was a bigger factor than small town/ big town factor you mentioned.
This very valuable! I wish I saw this when I went to Disney Land and took photos of the fireworks there 🙂

I tried taking some of the fireworks the neighbors were shooting. I still do not know enough about my camera to set it correctly for manual. I am going to have to study the book more. Then try the settings you mentioned. Doniphan, MO.
