I was at the Brit until 1997 – DJ Greville and Mr Walton hard but fair, Atherton and Ruesell were sports teachers Mrs Grant and Mrs Deakin kept me on the streight and narrow ………. never had any PC bullshit, just the cane and the red book, Oh and the odd slipper ………
Changed a bit from 1960 to 64 when I was there wished there were more photo's from then good school though very strict remember it well need some of them teachers now .
I left there in 97 feels like a life time ago had good n bad memories there but didn't we all

Brings back some memories this does! I left there in 1982 and now live in Michigan near the Great lakes. Its a far cry from Rowley Regis , but I still have a fond spot for the old place.
used to go to this school i was there when it got colsed and then had to go to heathfeild tech collage dwn oldbury

should of been blown up with all the teachers inside in 1985.
my 7 year old cousin goes to the new primary school that was built there.
what memories,how sad it had to b demolished, ileft in 1995, some of my best days were spent at brit. Thanks for these pics.xx
