    Please rename this video… Wtf

You did a great job of setting up the backdrop but, the end result and your photography skills stink. You really need to learn lighting if you want good results. If you want to learn how to set up a professional studio then you need to go and watch Karl Taylor on youtube. Sorry for being so brash but we as photographers spend many years perfecting our craft and for you to say that this is a professional studio is idiotic. If you want professional results then, hire a professional photographer and remember, you get what you pay for.

Firman, pretty sure he said it was  10 x 20 professional photography backdrop in white.

I'm going to try this just a new drop cloth.  I don't think I'd want white even though there is a purpose for it.  I just need a clean, neat place to take photos of the furniture I paint.

By the way, I love your wood work, Mitchell!!

Why didn't you use white fabrics? Cost much less. I building part of my garage for the same purpose. Nonetheless, it's crude but effective. Cheers!

The porpose of having a white backround is to create infinity appereance…you can not have it shrank or dirty, and when taking your pictures you should try not to capture whats behind the white backround. You should be able to control ligth and shadows too, just saying. Anyway you made this video to help people, that is good, just get a bit more professional Nice initiative.

  20. Mitchell Dillman says

…and you betcha, i will try the white cotton diffuser next time!

  23. Michael Keeter says

I have to admit I laughed when I saw you break out the duct tape, but it seems to have worked pretty good. I would get a few yards of white cotton about thick as t-shirt material from a fabric store, and use it to diffuse the lighting.

  24. Mitchell Dillman says

yep, you can pick up one of these up Online at backdropoutlet[dot]com for around a hundred bucks…Thank You for watching!

yep, you said it…the backdrop works great but more lighting is needed. I give those floodlights a try. Thanks!

  29. Cezar says

good video but i think more lighting will be even better, you can use floodlights which are cheaper than studio lights and they are strong
